When you mix a fresh picked coupling…

Caterers Chantal and Monty have been hired to handle Layton Industries’ annual Christmas party held at the couple’s penthouse apartment. With big dreams and very little money, they’re living on love. When their hosts don’t make it home for the party, a heady serving of desire distracts the freshly engaged pair during the post-party cleanup…

With a freeze-dried relationship…

Toss in a little spice…

STROKE OF MIDNIGHT

Marley Arbuckle is looking for a little payback, closure, and a boost to her confidence after being cheated on by her fiancé—not necessarily in that order. Choosing a 1Night Stand date in Las Vegas on New Year’s Eve to exact her revenge, she’s planned the affair down to her perfectly styled hair and every last manicured fingernail and pedicured toenail. But what she didn’t count on was meeting Ian O’Keefe.

Ian has his own dark reasons for contacting Madame Evangeline for a no-strings-attached night of desire with a beautiful stranger. He’s got something to prove to himself and a long road to recovery after losing his wife. His redemption may begin with Marley, but can she teach him to love again?

The Long and Short of It

Check out the nice little surprise that dropped into my "in" box. 4 1/2 stars from Fern at

"A great novel with strong characterization I really enjoyed this story. It has a Happy For Now ending with a strong romantic link and the promise for more. I found it had a good mixture of hot sex and time for the characters to get to know each other. This is a good read I can strongly recommend for most romance readers."

A nice little surprise popped into my email this morning. A beautiful review for Stroke of Midnight from Marie at Cocktails and Books.

"This story is achingly beautiful and sweet. Packed into so few pages is so much emotion. Way more than I expected from such a short story! The two characters in focus, Marley and Ian, have both been hurt by losing the person that they loved most. Marley is scorned and is seeking a night of pleasure to let go, and Ian is coping with the death of his wife – just looking for something, anything to fill the void of her and to mask his pain. The two of them coming together sounds like a disaster waiting to happen – but ends up being absolutely wonderful.
The author’s writing style is fantastic. She sure does know how to write a great story! And the scenario for which these two meet is tragically poetic. Two lost souls saving one another – simply beautiful. I look forward to reading more from this author and hope that you’ll take a chance on her too. Do yourself a favor and pick this book up."

Thank you, Marie and Cocktails and Books for the kind review.

Holiday Spanks

 Welcome to Saturday Spankings!

And here is the excerpt from my new 1 Night Stand from Decadent Publishing: Stroke of Midnight.

“Whoa, I’m not done with you yet, girl.”
“No?” Her voice squeaked. All things considered, she felt pretty done.
“No.” Ian shoved her back down on the mattress. “Someone needs a lickin’.”
By lickin’, she hoped he meant with his tongue and not a spank, although a spanking sort of intrigued her, too.

Coming December 20th
