I love this story, and in my opinion, it's one of the cleverest covers (Cover art by Fiona Jayde)

ever designed for me. The couple are dead on how I pictured them. The lens is pure genius. And the Christmas bow is a nice touch.

            Both couples struggle with the phase they are at in their respective relationships. Chantal and Monty are striving to find a balance between work and home in a new business and upcoming marriage. They’re divided by a difference in work ethic, religion and values, her coming from a traditional Mexican family, while Monty is Jewish. With very little money, they are living on love.

            Steve and Alexa have grown apart during their marriage, finding it difficult to reconnect. They are financially secure, but the pursuit of financial freedom along with the accompanying responsibilities has caused their relationship and sex life to fizzle. Another Saturday, another spank!

This is from my newly contracted holiday story, Catered Affair. I have an awsome cover from Decadent Publishing, although, at first I thought the couple was in a pie plate because the story has a foodie element to it. Guillermo asked why they were in a washing machine (in my defense, he's really pretty). What do you think?

Keep in mind this is unedited (the blurb too) and probably won't be out until Christmas time. I apologize for the whonky formatting. It looks fine until I hit publish. Here goes.

Excerpt:

Chantal looked around for the weasel-looking guy who’d let them into the apartment earlier. “Ixnay on the anguagelay.”

Monty squinted a clueless look in her general direction. “What?”

She whispered, “Pig Latin.”

“You know I’m not fluent, sweetie.” He swatted her rump with a firm open hand.

Chantal planted her knuckles on her hips, the kitchen knife still in her grasp.
