Guillermo and I were in the car taking a little day trip. We visited some quaint little towns that reminded me of Mystic Springs, the little town in Hair of the Dog. I snapped some photos. He drove as I finished up some edits and played around on my Droid, checking emails and such.
With a hint of dread in my voice, I said, "I got my first review for Hair of the Dog." "Que'," he replied. So I repeated my statement and told him how I get a sick feeling in the pit of my stomach whenever I know I have a review. Why? I don't know. They're usually good.
Here's part of what Heather said: "Hair of the Dog, a novella by Kelli Scott, is an intriguing and absolutely delightful story that will be sure to leave you laughing with hysterics one minute, and filling you with passion in the next." She said some other nice, really nice things that keep me writing. You can read the full review at Sizzling Hot Book Reviews.
